Maternal Health Outreach — Northern Ghana

Overview

Maternal mortality in the region remained high due to limited access to antenatal care. We designed a mobile clinic that visited five districts on a rotating schedule, bringing care directly to expectant mothers.

• Safe-delivery education for mothers and families

• Structured postnatal follow-up

Impact

Over three years the program reached more than 4,000 mothers, with a measurable drop in preventable complications.
